When flying and using frequent flyer miles how much is a mile worth?

You should probably check with the company, I believe they are all different.

Also maybe you should not talking about how other people write when, in one of your questions, you write "pleazzzzzzzzz" and make other errors as well.. I made the mistake of trying to copy and paste my question and that is why the title was messed up. In general each 100 miles was worth one dollar, 50,000 miles = $500. There is/was one airline that allowed you to use your miles that way if a frequent flier award ticket (25,000 miles) was not available for the flight you wanted. You could use your miles to purchase a ticket for the cash price at that exchange rate. A $374 ticket cost 37,400 miles.

That was a couple of years ago. I'm not sure if that works on todays airfares and some of the award programs may have changed. Add in the fact that some airlines now tack redemption fees onto frequent flier tickets and things really get muddy.

I think you should by the ticket if you have the money because maybe one day sumthin might happen and u have to go out of town and dnt have money to buy a ticet but u could use yo flyer miles so i say buy the ticket and save the flyer miles for a time you really need it
