If 350 economists including 3 Nobel Prize winners tell the Democrats you are doing the wrong thing?

Not really sure what your question is, but it is clear that economists that know history, and not just theory, know that the Obama approach will prolong economic downturn.

beren: The CATO Institute is ANYTHING but a right-wing organization. At best it could be called Libertarian, but it pretty much approaches economic issues without political spin. we did this question a couple weeks ago, and both sides can get long list of economist that agree or disagree with what they are doing.

if you look at the real issue, all of the so called grassroots protest and informational websites are paid for by big corporations that want their agenda to be the national agenda. so they scare you into thinking that things are terrible, and the only way they will be right is if you let them be in charge.

then they start with the wars and blaming foreign governments, meanwhile the lobby group that paid for all of the information websites and grassroots propaganda make lots of money.

wake up, it is not all about you, it's about the bigwigs want things to go back to letting the lobby groups run the US

Economics is not a precise science. You cannot predict with certainty any outcome, and there is always a viable alternative

You get elected President and ignore the facts

You hide behind closed doors, signing bills with all the earmarks you swore in your campaign you would not tolerate (where's that scalpel, anyway??)

You let your lackey administration do your dirty work so you can say to the people, "it wasn't me, it was Congress".

Nothing from the Cato institute can be trusted. These are the same people that blame FDR for the great depression.

Edit: Peabody. The GNP was at a minimum in 1933 when FDR took office. It increased every year that FDR was in office except 1938. Sorry the facts don't support your statements.
