Im not sure such a thing is possible if your bios is to limited. You could try updating the bios (although this isn't the easiest thing to do) I my self wouldn't worry if you have 3gb of ram then losing 128mb for the Video card is nothing. In fact if your running vista you may need that 128 mb of ram used by the video card anyway.

General speaking 3gb of ram should be fine so dw if a small amount is been sucked by the Video card as you need that to have some ram 2. My sisters laptop had only 512 when we brought it and 128 been used by the video card that caused some performance problems but when we upped the ram to 1gb it was fine.

Video reminiscence is puffed up. could you extremely have a laptop with a Pentium 4 processor and four GB of reminiscence or a center i7 processor with 3 GB of reminiscence? Video playing cards have picture processors that are much greater significant than the reminiscence quantity. it relatively is in basic terms lots greater much less costly for the producer to function reminiscence than to strengthen the processor. Your video card will borrow as lots reminiscence out of your gadget because it desires for video games. that would not propose the three-D picture processor gets any further useful, although. If the video is lagging in video games, increasing the reminiscence won't help.

I'm not sure that you can do that; I would just counter-balance it by adding a USB stick of 1GB ReadyBoost.
