it just came to me...?
while reading an article about Krishna communities.
Why do we keep asking and asking "why this religion does this" "why muslims forbid that" "why why...i think it's not free...i think it's stupid...i think it's not healthy...etc..."
when we can just enjoy a particular religion we choose, by really dwelling on its rules. i think each religion can teach us lessons and make us live a certain kind of life, each of this possible ways of life being just ....another way we can live and enjoy life
and since religion means "path in life", and most of them are pretty old, and changed during thousands of years, we can really trust them
for being real ways in life (that we cannot decypher sometimes but will totally do us lots of goods if we really put our faith in them and really follow them with all our hearts)
here's the link i was reading that inspired me to write this
Clan man : because we should, for a change, take this staying on Earth as a lesson, and we can use secular teachings to guide our lives instead of full-of-sin-thoughts on how we're the best and always have the best ideeas...
Marc man : you're missing the point, of course you can comment on my public oppinion, i was trying to raise awareness on those who are always trying to find flaws in religions...

The only true way to lead a spiritual life is to try to carry on the work, as best you can, as that started by Jesus. Thinking and acting in the best interest of the people
around you. Consoling, healing their wounds, and giving out plenty of TLC to all, even those that you consider to be your enemies. Yes it is not an easy path to tread but that is the truth. Nearly all our prayers are continually asking for something from God, but what we should be doing is dwelling at times in the silence and there we will be able to talk to god and ask. What can we do to for you?.
Any of us that can do that can call themselves true Christians.
Can i do that?. As a spiritualist i do my best at all times.
But to answer fully your Q, the other believers think in just the same way as i have written, following their avowed leaders.

you shouldn't look at sites like that for the truth about a different religion. those people who run those sites have no idea what they are talking about and think that it is "us vs them", "christians vs hare krishnas" (which they couldn't even spell right!). if you want to learn about those communities, visit iskcon.com and look at the temples' websites. they have pictures of the temples and the communities and the people, these "OMG THIS IS A CULT!" sites do NOT.

I will use your own words to describe religion. "dwelling on rules" and "teaching us lesson". I think you should explore why you want this in your life.

Certainly you can. Feel free to believe whatever you want. That's your right. When you start proclaiming it in public, however, others will have a right to comment on it. That's their right.
