  • to the few atheists that remained here..?

Here's a food for though little bite for you, "dear" atheists.

It's been said by a great thinker of the 20th century that lived in Romania (that's eastern europe if you don't know where that is).

It goes like this (i'm translating it for you) : "If God doesn't exist and I believe, I lost nothing. But if God exists indeed, and I don't believe, then I lost everything". N. Iorga

This dude if you want to call it like this, was killed by a faction called "the law makers" that existed in Romania for a brief period, that was doing executions in the name of the "justice". Something like fascists. They descended into homes and used their machine guns, then they leave. This man that was killed like that, from the order of the leader of the "law makers" was one of the enlightened heads of the 19th - 20th century, recognised in Europe.

  • Christians and Atheist : do you both understand this?

Until there's no peace, there can actually be no peace.

So stop fighting. Find common ground. Ask one another and find what you both have good.

Otherwise you're only be just another piece of what's happening globally right now, which is what you both do, creating separation, hatred and finally war between human beings.

  • ok let's lighten up a bit...everyone....?

how would you picture an atheist conspiracy and also a christian conspiracy. if you really want, you can go for muslim conspiracy and buddhist conspiracy.

but please please be original and don't jump to associate muslim with terror or other fat donut like that...go deeper to their way and find something...it doesn't have to be painful, can be funny as well :))

  • what's with this Obama deception anyway ?

He's totally relaxed the US politics which have been badly damaged by previous "leaders". He's trying to do stuff for the people, not for the money. He's much more opened, smart, spiritual, practical, whatever you want than any president on the planet. Name one that is better. (not reffering here to royal lineages of course)

So...do ya all think that by putting a no-trust on fresh-allected Obama and also by having him guility by 10 years of predecesors is gonna ....change the world ? I don't see anything bad about Obama. He's not hiding things, he's not avoiding any question. He's even planting stuff in the White House garden. Why be paranoid about all presidents ?

Maybe you can enlighten me on this topic, mostly the US citizens. I'm a poor eastern europe citizen and my interest in politics is about Europe mainly, but i also appreciate great political leaders worldwide.

As an ending message for this topic, what would you do if the president of North Korea would be your president, and Obama would move to North Koreea instead to lead there. We have an old saying around here "to the discontented person the gift is being taken away".

Maybe it will help you root yourself in the present and observe that a new president cannot be the root of all evil in a 200 years old country.

  • continuing...reaching faith only through Jesus ?

please all those who are asking for additional answers, activate your email thingie so I or others can actually be able to talk to you.

now, i'm a christian, very rooted one, with much respect for the church (old orthodox especially, but also catholic and others), also much love for Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, all angels and every deity you can imagine and God :) ok ?

but why why why oh why say that Jesus is the only way ? or why say that you cannot go to Father/God or reach salvation but only through Jesus ? Maybe I am an angel sent to make you aware that you sometimes follow "blindly" some otherwise very good ways, which is totally fine and ok, but you deny everything else ? Since you're all here, why not talk and share ? I say I'm a christian that think salvation is through Jesus Christ, but do not reject any other ways of being more human, of being more spiritual, of being more capable of loving etcetera...do you have a good vision? You think in Heaven there's only Jesus of Christ and his Father God ? There's also mother Mary, there's also ascended saints, there's also the angles, there's also the archangels, also very high seraphim and heruvim that guard the Heavens and do many other good things, there God, there's also probably other good beings there that we don't know cause there's not enough paper to write about all these.

What do you say to someone believing in say archangel Michael ? What about believing in ascended master Buddha which we know about because he lived on this very Earth. Do you think he's not there in Heaven ? Yes he is. As well as all virtuous beings from Earth.

So, what you are doing is say "I only love Jesus. I don't care about anyone else". It's good even like this. I can totally understand. Even if there's so much more diversity, one being is enough to feel love and loved, to understand and learn, to advance and be merciful, to create the heaven on earth, to make people laugh and feel joy in whatever you do. You are the ones who are ultimately right. I wish you a good week ahead and a good sunday night

  • are you aware that are millions of ways...?

to reach your spiritual understanding ?

it's same that with the 12 basic musical notes you create so many beautiful songs. each song is different but all are beautiful. so you reach beautifulness by so many different songs.

(same in science, some reach their understanding through chemistry, some through physics, some math, some all of these...)

  • For catholic and orthodox Christians?

Because we're separated but all believe in Jesus Christ, I want to write to you all (in case you didn't know) the differences between the 2 christian faiths. Source is this

    http://www.credo.ro/catolicism.php (in romanian language)

Here they are: (i'm translating from my site here exactly as it's says)

1.filioque : Catholics say that Holy Ghost comes from Father and Son. This dogmatic mistake is the heaviest. Saint Joan says in the Bible that Holy Ghost comes from the Father and is send to the world by his Son.

2.pope supremacy : Pope is considered the supreme head of christian church, meaning the deputy (omologue) of Christ on Earth. Bigger than all the patriarchs. This is a devil like proudness. The Pope is self-called follower of Saint Peter.

3.Pope is infailible : Catholics say that Pope cannot mistake like a human being, when it's about religion / faith. This dogma is rejected by eastern orthodox church.

    4. purgatory : Catholics say that between Heaven and Hell would be a great fire where the soul stays a few hundred years and gets cleaned up, and after that soul goes to Heaven. The Holy Scripture (Bible) does not say such thing.

    5. the special bread : catholics do not use regular bread but jewish like, the slim one.

6.The immaculate concept : Catholics say that Virgin Mary would be born from the Holy Ghost. Orthodox say this is not true. She's born in natural way from her father and mother Joachim and Anna, only because they prayed very deep (they were pretty old and also could not make children).

7.Substantiality : Catholics say that the Holy Gifts are being blessed by themselves. Orthodox have the custom of invoking the Holy Ghost upon them.

8.Celibacy : Catholic priests do not get married. They are bachelor, against the scriptures and christian books that decided that priests in the churches shall have wifes (orthodox priests have wives, but orthodox monks do not, they live a virginal life).

9.Pope's indulgences : To the Pope, if you give money (I personally think this was in the past, i'm pretty sure it does not happen any more), he will take all your sins away from you no matter how many you have. Catholic saints have so many good deeds and have no use of all of them that they share with the Pope, and he sells this virtues (i think gives somehow, not sells, not sure) to regular humans.

10.anointment : Catholic do not annoint kids immediately after baptised them, but at around 7-8 years old and only by high priests.

-some other differences : Catholics says that Mother Mary didn't die, she was lift in the sky (heavens) with her body, and she didn't know death.

-natural contraception : catholics accept the calendar contraception method (not very aware of it...something like these 1 or 2 days when the woman cannot get pregnant each month or so...i guess....not sure tho)

-evolutionism : The Vatican accepts the evolutionism as well.

-statues : Catholic people respect also the statues and kiss their feet and make the cross sign (well, similarly, orthodox people respect icons representing Mother Mary, Jesu or other saints of all kind, they kiss them and make cross sign,....similar,..that i can say i know)

-marriage : to Catholics, the secret of the marriage is administrated by the 2 that are getting married, the priest is just a witness. In orthodoxy, the priest does all the ritual.

Ok these are it. To me, all seem only minor things that can get by. No really major differences. Only 1 that i can see, the one with borrowing virtues from other persons. In the real life you can borrow money, but virtue is that which is part of your soul, cannot be borrowed. Yes, can be partially experienced while in presence of the person, but when he leaves, you remain with your own virtues, and that's it.

....only if, the borrowing of virtues from saints to give to people does not mean some kind of initiation of the person in that virtue, given by a high priest (spiritual master) who is able to pass on a certain virtue by just looking at or placing hand on a certain christian follower....but other than that, virtues are something that you have, you cannot borrow them or buy them :))

anyway, thanks for reading. This is only informative, my hands hurt from so much writing, you can also get your resources on the net.

  • do you prefer..(poll)?

    1. being totally devoted to your faith / religion / Way (if you have any)

and reject all the other ways ?

    2. embracing your faith but also accepting all the other Ways, as long as they create happy-loving people just like you ?

    3. being totally devoted to your own made path (inspired of this world), which means you are a spiritual being but don't really follow strictly something

    4. just being part of a certain religion because you feel you "need to belong to some movement"

    5. deny at all you may be a spiritual being, it's all in your mind

you can choose which number(s) suite you best :)

enjoy & thanks for being here for me

  • my fellows christians?

i just saw someone in distress, wondering why christians would say Jesus is the only way and negate other ways. probably she's on another way than ours (which we should respect) and she met a fundamentalist christian (the one who easily says "blasphemy blasphemy")

i'm not saying this is the general case.

but what happend with your love for your brother ? i wonder....

even if you didn't answer that post, you can comment on this topic.

i think there's a "snake" growing in our christan chests, biting

anyone that doesn't agree with us...should we keep it further ?

  • Do you people know about Eckhart Tolle ?

He's born in Germany, lived in England and around 30 he moved to west-coast , now living in beautiful Vancouver, Canada.

He does not do any religion, he was living like most of us with regular mother and father that argue and you know, real real life.

here's the link to the Youtube page. Please try not to associate him with any "personality" or "show" or "television" that he appeared in with an interview etc. He is exactly a regular person on this Earth.

i hope it will answer you all some of your answers (if not all :))

  • i wish you all a Happy Easter!?

from Romania, from the orthodox church custom, i wish you all believers and non-believers a happy Easter day, a celebration that is happening once a year when spring comes, for more than 2000 years already. May the inner light be with you all!

  • Dostoyevsky used to say...?

"..if Christ is not the Truth, than i would leave the Truth and follow Christ.."

this is useful for nonbelievers, as saying, but is best understood by believers :)

  • for atheists, with love :)?

    The Human Route

Coming empty-handed, going empty-handed -- that is human.

When you are born, where do you come from?

When you die, where do you go?

Life is like a floating cloud which appears.

Death is like a floating cloud which disappears.

The floating cloud itself originally does not exist.

Life and death, coming and going, are also like that.

But there is one thing which always remains clear.

It is pure and clear, not depending on life and death.

Then what is the one pure and clear thing?

  • it just came to me...?

while reading an article about Krishna communities.

Why do we keep asking and asking "why this religion does this" "why muslims forbid that" "why why...i think it's not free...i think it's stupid...i think it's not healthy...etc..."

when we can just enjoy a particular religion we choose, by really dwelling on its rules. i think each religion can teach us lessons and make us live a certain kind of life, each of this possible ways of life being just ....another way we can live and enjoy life

and since religion means "path in life", and most of them are pretty old, and changed during thousands of years, we can really trust them

for being real ways in life (that we cannot decypher sometimes but will totally do us lots of goods if we really put our faith in them and really follow them with all our hearts)

here's the link i was reading that inspired me to write this
