continuing...reaching faith only through Jesus ?

please all those who are asking for additional answers, activate your email thingie so I or others can actually be able to talk to you.

now, i'm a christian, very rooted one, with much respect for the church (old orthodox especially, but also catholic and others), also much love for Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, all angels and every deity you can imagine and God :) ok ?

but why why why oh why say that Jesus is the only way ? or why say that you cannot go to Father/God or reach salvation but only through Jesus ? Maybe I am an angel sent to make you aware that you sometimes follow "blindly" some otherwise very good ways, which is totally fine and ok, but you deny everything else ? Since you're all here, why not talk and share ? I say I'm a christian that think salvation is through Jesus Christ, but do not reject any other ways of being more human, of being more spiritual, of being more capable of loving etcetera...do you have a good vision? You think in Heaven there's only Jesus of Christ and his Father God ? There's also mother Mary, there's also ascended saints, there's also the angles, there's also the archangels, also very high seraphim and heruvim that guard the Heavens and do many other good things, there God, there's also probably other good beings there that we don't know cause there's not enough paper to write about all these.

What do you say to someone believing in say archangel Michael ? What about believing in ascended master Buddha which we know about because he lived on this very Earth. Do you think he's not there in Heaven ? Yes he is. As well as all virtuous beings from Earth.

So, what you are doing is say "I only love Jesus. I don't care about anyone else". It's good even like this. I can totally understand. Even if there's so much more diversity, one being is enough to feel love and loved, to understand and learn, to advance and be merciful, to create the heaven on earth, to make people laugh and feel joy in whatever you do. You are the ones who are ultimately right. I wish you a good week ahead and a good sunday night

When we say that Jesus is the way, we are pointing to several key aspects of Jesus which no other being can fulfill. Firstly he alone is the manifestation of God upon earth. We cannot see the Father or the Spirit, but men have seen Jesus and it is by his words and example that we most fully know God.

Secondly, Jesus is saviour, and it is only by his unique sacrifice that our salvation is possible. And, thirdly, he is judge. Whether we receive mercy or damnation is for him alone to decide.

Regarding the saints and angels, it is certainly good to revere them and invoke their help, but we must always remember that they are created beings and subordinate to the Creator. They do not have any inherent power; whatever they do is done by the power of God and as an act of loving service to him. Without God they would be powerless.

As for those who are non Christian, such as Buddha, one cannot be a Christian and believe that they knew and taught the full truth. It may well be that they had some partial and flawed understanding of God and it may be that, insofar as they remained blamelessly ignorant, God tolerated their ignorance (cf Acts 17:30). But if the old, Jewish, covenant passed away with the coming of Christ, how much more would the spread of his Word supersede what were never more than half truths to begin with.

I follow the notion of biblical pluralism. Once given salvation through faith in Jesus people can use their minds to work out their salvation for themselves. This is no place to be judgmental when God is the judge.

God still seeks obedience over sacrifice. The Holy Spirit guides people to give up false doctrines. The bible is a standard which is useful for correcting error.

What ever name one puts to their religion there is ONLY one way, and that is a total belief that there IS a hereafter. An absolute belief that their following will take them to another life AFTER so called death

Why we should continue this bickering i do not know, where is all the sense in it?

All the faiths want the same thing.
