Do you people know about Eckhart Tolle ?

He's born in Germany, lived in England and around 30 he moved to west-coast , now living in beautiful Vancouver, Canada.

He does not do any religion, he was living like most of us with regular mother and father that argue and you know, real real life.

here's the link to the Youtube page. Please try not to associate him with any "personality" or "show" or "television" that he appeared in with an interview etc. He is exactly a regular person on this Earth.

i hope it will answer you all some of your answers (if not all :))

all the best

Update:

As great as his ideas are, it's still very hard to live life the way he does, I think it's the right time for him to introduce his ideas in this day and age, but I don't think the "flowering of human consciousness", as he calls it, will happen within our lifetime.

And hopefully no one ever idolizes him and turns him into a figure for religion, that would destroy the potential in growth in what he has brought forth. as worship always does. In his books, if you read his passages carefully, you can see that some issues for him do have a strong emotional charge, so he is still quite human, but for having the realizations that he has had and for sharing them, he's quite an admirable individual.

To answer your Q fully look at the church attendances less than 30% of capacity.

they are there now for the hatch ,match and dispatch, use mostly.

    Christenings, weddings and funerals.

We are fast becoming a Godless society .

The buildings buildings themselves will become very expensive follies.

Well, that's where I briefly caught a glimpse of him, on a t.v show...Oprah to be exact.

She was promoting some book of his, and she was all giddy over it....anyhoooooooo, he struck me as a really strange man, in a really weird way.

I didn't watch the show after a few minutes.
