shark for a 29 gallon aquarium?

its not about "will the fish i have FIT in this tank".

due to the fairly large TERRITORY these fish stake out, the fact that they are BOTTOM feeders, only using the bottom of your tank, they need something MUCH LARGER that a 29.

not to mention, they are HIGHLY aggressive to their ownkind, you simply CANNOT have more than one per tank.

you are looking at a minimum of 3 55 gallon tanks.

sure, ONE shark might FIT his body in your 29, btu it is not an appropriate tank size, and is nothing less that absolute selfishness to put even one in there, let alone 3 of them.

the 1 gallon per 1 inch of fish rule is OUTDATED, and does not apply to fish that grow to be large, fish that are messy, and fish that are aggressive and/or territorial.

you cannot put a 8 inch oscar in a 10 gallon, for example, or even a 20 gallon tank....

no u should not because each one of those sharks needs At least 20 gallons of fish

and that many fish in a 20 gallon fish tank will make allot of waste which will make it harder for you to clean the tank

2 would be your best bet, if not one. They get to be a pretty decent size and are territorial, if you want a pair just make sure you have enough hiding places in your aquarium like rocks, plant, etc.

yes you could, every inch of the adult size of the fish for every gallon, so three 6 in. fish would need an 18 gallon tank.

3 might be ok for awhile but when they start getting there full size it might be a tight fit 2 would fit comfortable in a 29

not even one as they will out grow your tank.
