Wait until right after the kittens are weaned. Dealing with feral cats...I have taken cats to be spayed and then found out they were nursing babies. They were spayed and then immediately returned to the babies. For a regular house cat that has NO contact with a male...I would wait. If you have unaltered males in your home, either keep them total isolated from each other or consult your vet for advice.

Your cat can be spayed after the kittens are weaned, say about 6 to 8 weeks after the kittens were born.

    Check with your vet.

If you need a low cost spay procedure, do a Google search on: low cost spay cat city state

Replace city and state with your city and state

That search should find some organizations which provide low cost spay surgery.

Their funds will be limited so please only use these organizations if you really can't afford to have your cat spayed by your vet.

You can also call the vets in the yellow pages and ask how much they charge to spay a cat.

She should be spayed when the kittens are 8 weeks old and keep the kittens for 10-12 weeks before rehoming them.

Keep mom inside and away from any unneutered male - she can get pregnant when nursing kittens. The kittens, if you keep them, need to be spayed/neutered by 3-4 months old so they don't breed.

You can get her spayed anytime after 4 months old. They generally go into heat between 4 and 8 months. If she's pregnant or has just had a litter you can get her spayed when the kittens are 8 weeks old.

Depends on what kind of animal it is.
