7]hemp seed is natures perfect food.the oil from hemp seeds has the highest percentage of essential fatty acids and the lowest percentage of saturated fats
8]steralized hemp seed is commonly sold as bird seed
9]rolling papers like Bambu,are made from hemp paper
10]in 1937,the marijuana tax stamp act prohibited the use,sale and cultivation of hemp/marijuana in the usa
11]five years later, during world war 2,the u s department of agriculture released the film"hemp for victory" which encouraged farmers to grow hemp for the war effort
12]hemp is cultivated all over the world.today,china,korea,italy hungary,russia and france are among the countries that grow hemp for fibre,paper and other products
13]in 1988 the dea's own administrative law judge concluded that "marijuana is one of the safest,therapeutically active substances known to man"
14]cannabis can be used as a medicine to treat nausea,pain and muscle spasms.it alleviates symptoms of glaucoma,multipe sclerosis,AIDS,migraines and other debilitating ailments
15]35 states have passed legislation permitting medical use of marijuana
16]more than 400,000 americans are arrested each year onmarijuana charges
17]more than 400,000 americans die from diseases related to cigarette smoking each year.more than 150,000 americans die of alcohol abuse each year..but in 10,000 years of usage,no one has ever died from marijuana

I am on your side, I am FOR this, but when presenting this argument you have to be extremely careful that everything you say is accurate and irrefutable.  Any inaccuracies will be used to negate your entire argument. You want to fact-check your list.

Hemp is made from the cannabis sativa plant, the same plant that gives us smokable marijuana. This is what freaks out those people who oppose a hemp industry. There are many different varieties of this plant. The psychoactive cannabis sativa that gives us smokable marijuana is a bushy plant with THC content between 3% - 15%. Industrial cannabis sativa is a tall, spindly plant with almost no THC, less than .5%, which makes it useless as a recreational drug. 

It is illegal to grow hemp in the US. The reasons given by the government for this is that by legalizing hemp we are one step closer to legalizing marijuana. They fear the two varieties of hemp will be grown side by side which would be undetectable by air-based enforcement. Marijuana growers say they would never plant industrial hemp near their marijuana plants because it would cross-pollinate and lower the THC content, and therefore the value of, their marijuana.

Funny thing is, at the height of hemp production in the US there were only a few thousand acres being cultivated, it just wasn’t that profitable or desirable of a crop when legal, so what do proponents think has changed? Yes, hemp can be used to make paper and cloth, but not great paper or great cloth. Hempseed and hempseed oil are nutritious, but so are many other seeds and seed oils.

The Canadian ban on hemp cultivation was lifted in 1998, so let’s watch and see what happens there.

I think Cannabis or marijuana (whatever) is okay in certain circumstances. I think it is okay to have it for medical use but only under serious conditions. Marijuana is not a safe drug, i know a lot of people who had smoked alot of it and are now in a mental intitustion. I think it should only be diagnosed under serious diseases such as mutiple sclerosis or AIDS or severe atheritis. I dont think it should be medicated under stress as there are alot of other options such as exercises, that relieves stress.
