I think he may have helped but considering Naruto is the main character I dont think the White Fang would have played a big role.

I dont think Ichigo would care about the people around him as much and basically there wouldnt be a show considering I believe the first hollow Ichigo ever saw was the Grand Fisher who killed his mom. And if Ichigo didnt care as much then maybe he wouldnt have become a soul reaper/shingami.
