It's PEOPLE!!! Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!

From what I read, it was a hoax. Apperently a couple of guys called "the Yes Men" who dress like executives, go to a meeting, get up to speak, and embarrass the crap out of everyone. I doubt that anyone has real plans to process dead people into food, fuel, or anything else.

Although at the rate that the world's decency is going down the tubes, it wouldn't surprise me very much.

Did you READ the article or just the title?

These guys were totally fake. I figured that out when they said we could turn dead people into oil. If we knew how to replicate the MILLION year processes that occur in order to create oil, don't you think we'd be doing that now?

Any organic material would conceivably work after all. Plant material turns in to coal, and we could take dead animals to make oil.

Last time I checked, no one has done so.

Sounds like another prank from the "Yes Men" - very funny!

Saw their documentary when they tried to convince a bunch of university kids that processing human waste from the third world could go back into recycling food for that region. The expressions on the students faces was priceless. People actually took them seriously and walked out en masse.

I take it you didn't understand that these guys, The Yes Men, were making fun of Exxon?

"The executives being the Yes Men, of course. The Yes Men are two guys who impersonate executives from unlovable corporations, get their fake selves invited to speak at conferences, and embarrass the hell out of their targets."
