How does the Battle of Hiroshima and Nagasaki relate to eachother?

And how did they lead to an allied victory in the war?

These were not battles. These were the Japanese cities where the atomic bombs were dropped.

This was a direct result of the Japanese determination to fight to the very last, and probably shortened the end of the war by several years.

The Germans were already defeated at this stage, having been driven from both Russia and Africa.

The Japanese could not fight on under the threat of more A bombs being dropped. Only USA had the technology at this point.

    Specific about what in particular?

    I Wiki'd Hiroshima for you:

Not much of a battle at either cities, just a big atomic BOOOOOOM followed by generation of cancers, birth defects and miscarriages. I don't think the Japanese even fired a shot at the lone bombers in either city, they figured they were high level recon. planes until they were engulfed in the firestorm and shock waves.
