Nowhere does it say that there will be sex in the afterlife for gays or straights, so i'm assuming the answer to that is no. However, I for one do not believe that homosexual sex is a sin. They didn't choose to be gay any more than I chose to be straight.

One has to look at the cultural context of everything, especially something that is thousands of years old. Jesus didn't speak a word on homosexuality. The apostles lived in a time where there was no contraception, no DNA testing to prove a child belongs to them, no protection against STD's, etc. If a woman wasn't a virgin, this means that one, she could be pregnant upon sleeping with her husband and he'd have no way of knowing whether the child was his or not. She could be carrying a sexually transmitted disease that she could pass onto her husband as well.

Homosexuality in the bible talks mainly about prostitution, idolatry, and worshiping of false gods such as with Sodom and Gommorah (not related to homosexuality). If we are to follow "Thou shalt not lie with a man as one lies with a woman it is an abomination" then we should also not be hypocrites and follow not wearing poly-cotton blends, not eating meat with cheese, not eating any grain that has been grown with another, burning offerings to God, staying away from shellfish, not eating pork, etc. So, there's my two cents. One, that homosexuality is not a sin. Two, that homosexual sex isn't even a sin, although ANY sexual relations should not be destructive, should be safe, and take both individuals feelings into account.

Gay Christians don't have to be celibate to be saved. We just follow the same rules of marriage as straight Christians do, just with a same-sex spouse.

There is no sex in heaven. Jesus said that in heaven, people do not marry.

According to a lot of Christians all gay's go straight to hell regardless. I would hate to be so narrow minded and shallow.

Your body doesn't go to heaven, your soul does.

Sex is not necessary in heaven. Sex is a physical human experience. We will be spititual beings then. Homosexuality is a sin and if it isn't repented of and a new life began, they will not go to heaven.

I used to follow the desires of my same sex attraction, but I found that to be a perversion. How can anyone who defines themselves by their sexuality and is a slave to it be a slave to Christ and how can they stand in the afterlife when there is no such thing as sex anymore?
