You won't go to jail. Just remember, she shouldn't have started something. You should talk too a police officer if you want to know what will happen.

She filed Charges? Did you receive any kind of legal document?
If not, there is nothing to worry about.
If you received a legal document from the law or from a lawyer, Than I suggest you get a lawyer.
I don't think saying something(such as a threat) constitutes grounds for incarceration. But if you physically do something. That is a different story.

She probably in basic terms tried to get a restraining order. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that - whilst that comes by way of, call for which you meet her in court and argue it. you do no longer could desire to settle for a restraining order. by using fact the restraining order would be against you, then you definately're the "defendant" and you'd be able to question despite witnesses you call - and you'd be able to call her as a witness. Then ask her in case you your self weren't threatened... Make no admittance of incorrect doing your self - basically be silent on that question.

Pot and kettle occurs.
A counter would definitely be in order. It is her threatening home invasion and you merely advising that you will exercise your right to self-defense. Get some legal advice - do you have a community law centre in your town?

Never make a threat. Why would you want to give an enemy a heads up of your intentions.
Don't drop the soap!

That's not really a threat. You said you would defend your house if he came to attack you. She would actually have to have him commit a crime by coming to hurt you for your threat to play out. Is she admitting she is going to commit a crime?

She threatened you.....you threatened her boy friend with self defense......if anyone is in trouble SHE is.....
But personally I think it is a wash.....even even.... you only told her you were prepared to defend yourself......you did not threaten anyone

don't repeat the threat or admit making it.
