Is it wrong to love your cousin?

Question

here's my situation, my "cousin" and i are pretty much best friends, whenever we get to see each other we hang out non-stop, and pull all nighters, because its usually only for a weekend every few months. she is my step dad's cousin, a generation above me. and we both really like each other , and both know it. Is it wrong if we do anything? i know it is social unacceptable to say that i'm dating my cousin, but would it actually be wrong?

im also worried about what the rest of my family will think, or if they will see it the same way i do.

also we are not related by blood in anyway, we just grew up as cousins

yes, socially it's unacceptable and you have to be aware MANY people will mock you and disapprove - if you take this on, you have to deal with the consequences.

if it was your real cousin it would be different, and i would disapprove strongly, however, since your no-where related.. it seems okay by me.

i suggest you talk to a) your stepdad or mum and b) your cousin; it'll help you make a decision. 

this is not illegal, so it should be okay.

yeah it's wrong to have sex with your cousin in this day and age...if it's a blood cousin, of course it's wrong.  Humans are well populated, u are not oppressed to sleep with a cousin...are u aware of all the birth problems that arise from cousins having a baby by one another?  This may not be directed to you, but im just answering what your question implies, as cousin would be a biological relative

umm... well if you both are not actually related to one another then i guess it's okay.

just dont refer to her as your cousin.
that kind of makes it a bit gross.
