I think they are more 'in tune' to their basic intuition. E.g they can sense natural disasters before they happen.
But I think we as a human race had this ability (long time ago) but then we lost it. We have lost our ability to sense things like the way other mammals do.

Some animals have different senses. Plants can sense light and gravity without eyes or feeling. Sharks can sense electrical disturbances. I'm positive there are a wide variety of fully explainable senses in the animal kingdom we have no idea about.

That isn't a sense. All creatures feel that. It's a reaction to being hunted and an a reaction to an adverse situation. Human beings have five senses. No more

Yes and no, because technically, humans are animals.
I think that they are more in tune with their instincts, and many of their senses are indeed much sharper than ours.
But humans, I believe have extraordinarily strong sixth senses, but they are taught to ignore them by society and by schools, which favor more left-brain talents and abilities.
But just to be sure, I'll tell you if my dog's had any premonitions lately ;D

Firstly you probably mean ESP not sixth sense. Even humans have over five perceptual senses (tempurature, movement, etc) and many animals typically have others, and many of those senses are more sensitive than humans... depending on the animal they might be more senstive to vibrations that equal flood/earthquake, to magnetic forces (i.e. pidgeons), have better hearing and vision. So in that sense yes.
In terms of paranormal ESP, no - we assign many meanings to an animals behavoir to confirm our own beliefs, but animals are very capable of picking up and reacting to our own body language (i.e. see Clever Hans, the horse they thought could add up...) so if we're spooked, they will be. There is no reliable controlled evidence of ESP in humans or animals.

I just read a book about cats-there are at least 2 probably more stories of cats finding their way supernaturally-here is one- a child's parents decide to move from Florida to Washington, and they decide to give the boys cat to the neighbors. They move and 2 years later, the boy is at school, and the cat shows up at his playground. To everyones amazement it is the boys cat-and it had never ever been to Washington but it still found it's boy-who kept it this time.
I don't think all cats have this ability-but I think some do and some have others

There are all kinds of sixth senses. But yes, I think animals actually have nearly all of them. Do you know, animals can find their way to their owners over huge distances - not to be confused with the homing instinct, they can find their owners no matter where they are, a good example being Blitzcat by Robert Westall.

Yes i know for a fact because one time my dog heard a tornado coming and we didn't have power at the time so he barked and we looked so we rushed to the underground cellar.

Nah, they just have better senses of smell and hearing. Otherwise they're particularly stupid, if I can go by what my dog does.
