I get questions deleted too, and at first had no clue why, but it didn't take long to figure out there are some people on here who like to play the sheriff. I know I will get thumbs down and that is okay, it doesn't bother me any more...half the time I don't look back anymore and let them have the satisfaction of their thumbs down bugging me.

It's those darn Yahoo Community Guidelines. Yahoo considers questions like that chatting or not a question.... I've been guilty of the same thing myself. Even questions about the weather are considered chatting. :(

Postings such as yours are viewed as violating the rules of Yahoo! answers. Sorry! Guidelines state it must be an actual questions soliciting responses..not 'chat' type conversation or greetings
