Transistor Help! which sould I use?
I have a 2N2222 transistor (that's what it says on its side) and I need a PNP2222 transistor for a project. I am wondering if I could possibly use the 2N2222 instead of the PNP2222.

rjm is correct, it should be a 2N2222
but if you need the PNP equivalent, it's a 2N2905
.

haven't run across the PNP2222. Are you sure it's not a "PN2222"? That is a stock replacement for the 2N2222.
