My fridge crapped out, can I use dry ice?

Just as a temporary thing for today until the landlords fix it. I'm pretty irritated at this... I just went grocery shopping! >.<

Also, where can I buy dry ice?

yes ice or dry ice will work be careful when handling the dry ice it can burn you use rubber gloves or tongs or something like that.and you can get it at some grocery stores but it can be hard to find sometimes depending where you live id google where to find it in your area.and put the dry ice on the top shelf if you do because cold falls down and heat rises

dry ice is not a good idea. (sounds good though)

dry ice eats the oxygen out of the air.

you're not allowed to take dry ice on airlines because of that fact.

cakes of regular ice would be best. get them from an ice house (where ice is made)

hey that's what we did when i was a kid and we didn't have an electric or gas refrigerator. yes they actually had refrigerators driven by natural gas way back when. they ice men actually came to the house and asked you what sized piece of ice you wanted for your BOX.

    good luck to ya.

Dry ice will be found in the phone book under "ice". Wear gloves when you handle it.
