Which team will have the best record in the NBA?
With 15 games to go (as of 3/18/09) for the Cavs and Lakers, I just don't know which of the two will get the best record at season's end. The team who gets home court could very well get the championship.

as a lakers fan i would love to say them, but i am a realist. Cavs have only 5 away games left and 10 home games. that is going to be a breeze for them. beseides the Cavs play in the weaker conference. they have 7 playoff teams to face at home and one at orlando.
the lakers in the other hand have only 6 home games left and 9 away. 7 away in a row at the end of the month, well starting at the end of the week. not only that the lakers face 8 playoff teams and have maybe 10 tough games including games at Sacramento and at Charlotte. out of the 8 playoff teams 6 teams are away.
Source(s): so after all that i think the cavs have the easier stretch. so cavs might come out with the best record. but i am hoping that at least they have the same record at the end of everything. Lakers will get home court bc of head to head. - jracer524Lv 51 decade ago
I am guessing that the L.A. Lakers will have the best record at the end of the season, but they will not have 69 wins. I predict their record will be 65-17. I hope another team gets a better mark.
Source(s): Their record was 53-13 as of last Sunday (3/15) with 16 games to go. - hitmeagaindudeLv 51 decade ago
It is the Lakers or Cleveland, unless they go on a big losing streak no one can catch them. I cannot figure out how someone can still say Boston at this point. Not only are they a .500 team since signing Starbury, but they would have to make up 5 games with only 14 to go. Not going to happen.
I would say that it might be Cleveland with the best record, but it could come down to the season series that would give it to L.A.
