After 4 years, can you add creditors to your ch. 7 Bankruptcy?

Ok, I filled ch. 7 bankruptcy 4 years ago. There were creditors who never revealed themselves untill after I filled. Like up to 2 years after. Can I put them in my bankruptcy? Or has that boat sailed? All the debt was incurred before filling bankruptcy.

If you filed and didn't include them in your filing and your case has been discharged..you're SOL....you owe the debts. Before you filed and went to the court, it was your responsibility to make sure you gave the attorney every bill to include in the filing. A simple credit report from all 3 bureaus would have showed who you owed. Sorry, you owe these debts, set up some payment arrangements cuz you can't file again for chapter 7, and only can file a chapter 13 to pay it back, or pay it off on your own. Good Luck!

"There were creditors who never revealed themselves"

    ???

You mean you owed people money but you didn't know you owed them money, yet you filed bankruptcy because???

If you filed BK and that debt existed prior to the filing, the creditors will have a hard time collecting. If you failed to notify them, that can be an issue.

Go back and discuss this with your BK attorney.

how could you not remember who you had debts with? - "revealed themselves"??? that makes no sense. you're stuck with those now. and if they "revealed" themselves 2 yrs ago, why are asking this question now - 2 more years later?
