I'm going to Cozumel?

Hi. Coz is a great place. Not as fast paced as Playa but great in it's own way. I have been there twice and would recommend the jeep tour on the windward side with the snorkeling and playing in the bigger waves. Second thing I'd do again would be a snorkel trip to Planacar reef. If your catamaran pickes you up at the city pier you will pass close to the cruise ships when they are in port.I was there before the hurricanes of recent years and loved it then. No current to speak of com paired to Isla Maujeres off Cancun. It is far less busy and a whole lot more enjoyable. The down town night life is a blast too! I stayed at tteh El Cozumeleno both times. Not much beach but fun anyway.

cozumel is small island there will be plenty to do at your hotel i expect, but if you want different night life you can get the ferry to Play del Carmen which has plenty of bars and clubs it only a short ferry ride.

the Island has a few nice beaches and a nice little town square surrounded by bars and restaurants. i would stay there a couple of days,then take the ferry into Playa del Carmen. from there you can go to Cancun,Xcaret,or to Chichen Itza.
