is david price going to get 15 wins this season?

Many guys are reporting predictions of 9 games. I'd love to see him win 15, though. I can't wait for him to suceed. He might have an amazing season, you never know. If not, he'll do it by his 2nd or 3rd year.

I don't think he will. The guy was overpowering for the Rays in the playoffs last season, but that was out of the bullpen. I don't see him dominating like that once he goes into the rotation. The problem with young pitchers is that they are babied too much in the minors and you rarely see them pitch more than 140-150 innings. To get 15 wins, Price is going to have to throw a lot more innings than that, and he probably will tire toward the end of the season. Still, even if he did pitch the entire year as a starter, he may not get 15. He was new last year, and he was blowing away hitters who had never seen him before. As a starter, he will be facing guys 2,3, or 4 times and he will have to "pitch" more and not just use his fastball to strike people out.

Price is a good future pick-up. If you want wins, I would take a lot of other guys over him. He does strike a lot of guys out, but he probably will open in the minors, which will cut down on his totals.

No. Currently fighting for the #5 spot in the rotation. Not only is it tremendously difficult for a #5 starter to get 15+ wins, but he is also a rookie. Give the kid some time, he looks to be the lefty version of Joba.

I would assume not, he was clutch for them in the playoffs but it's hard to find a first year starter who can lock up 15 wins.
