Birth control pills make it so that you do not ovulate. So your eggs weren't doing anything at that time. So no worries about mini-yous coming around in 9 months.

It is okay to skip the 'sugar' pills from time to time, but keep in mind, having at least 4 periods a year reduces your chances of getting certain female cancers (like uterine). Just for your information.

The purpose of birth control pills is to stop the release of an egg. Most women do not release an egg on birth control. So you should be fine. There is a chance you can get pregnant, but its unlikely and rare!

You're eggs weren't being released. So skipping the sugar pills makes absolutely no difference to ovulation.

You are good. I also do the same thing myself.

My period is due back the week my husband comes home from deployment. I have not been taking them while he was gone. I will start very soon.

No pregnancy should come of it and no ovulation.

You are safe, dont worry. Thats the only way I ever took pills. It was so nice to never have a period!
