What is wrong with my cat?

his head keeps shaking but there is nothing wrong other else or i don't think so. He drinks, jumps, walks around, and everything els on his own. If anyone does know what is wrong what can i do to help my cat? Is it possible that even a liitle bit of neck pain could cause him to shake his head ?

Update:

i can't take him to a vet so what could i do a home to take care of the problem? I don't think it is a ear infection because he isn't constantly scratching his ears. his head is just shaking

It is probably ear mites. There are many over the counter medicines for this, and it can't hurt to try one out.

Head shaking and head tilting are usually caused by an outer-ear infection called otitis externa. Caused by bacteria, yeast, or other organisms, this condition is particularly common in dogs with large, floppy ears because the insides of the ears get hot and humid, creating a perfect environment for infection. Pets with ear mites will also shake or tilt their heads. Dogs aren't immune to ear mites, but they get them much less often than cats do.

Food allergies are a common cause of ear problems. Unlike people, who often get upset stomachs from eating foods that they are allergic to, dogs and cats can get downright itchy. When they aren't scratching, they may give their heads a quick shake for temporary relief.

In cats particularly, itchy ears are often caused by ear mites, which are tiny, crablike parasites that occasionally take up residence. When the mites scurry around, the ears can get intensely itchy.

Yep, sounds like ear mites. Get your cat to a vet soon. These can be awful to treat if you let it go.

He may have something in his ear, or something foreign on his head. Or, he may just be a cat if this has been going on for a while.
