What is "to exercise" in French?
I'm doing homework and I have no idea what to exercise is in French. it's not even in my dictionaries. I thought it was exerciser or exerciseur but I'm not sure.

It depends of the context.... most of the times it means : s'exercer
Could you put the whole phrase, it would be easier to tell you what it means. I'm french so I may be able to help you more than a dictionary :)

Faire de L'exercice
In French, where we in English just have verbs for things, they use Faire (de). Examples are "To Ski" being "Faire du Ski" or "To Sail" being "Faire de la Voile".
