Can schools legally leave you in another country?
Ok well I'm going on a trip to the US with my school and it's for two weeks. The thing is, we fly into an airport which is a 20 min drive from my Aunt's house so me and two of my best friends thought we could stay with her for like 3 extra days or we could get a 4 hr coach to the beach and stay in my grandmas (empty) house for that ammount of time. We are 15 and we'd prob tell the school we are staying with aunt even if we did go to the coast (because they prob wouldn't let us if it were unsupervised.
The other option would be to fly to Florida from the airport instead of home and stay with my friends there. Me and my dad checked it all out and the flights wouldn't cost extra because we'd just swap the flight home for a later date.
Would a school (UK) legally allow you to do this since we have been in their care for the 2 weeks?
it's all been oked with the parents, even the beach because I've been there like 5 times so I know my way around, I know people there and places for shopping and the walk to the beach. I've been to my aunts house like 7 times so I know places there too.
We'll be in year 11 then and we'll all be 16 and my aunt has no problem with it.

I think you need to get your parents to speak to the school and see what they say.
I wouldn't lie about anything as if anything goes wrong your parents will be held responsible for not being honest with the school.
If all parents are happy with it and they are upfront with the school then you most likey won't have any problems.
Have fun and stay safe :o)

you're incorrect. you're no longer an grownup in Texas till you have grew to become 18. Your dad and mom are nevertheless responsible to your welfare. you are able to no longer stay on your guy or woman devoid of their consent. Why do you think of that the police insist which you call living house? the place the confusion is attainable in inTexas is that under criminal regulation you're an grownup at 17. dedicate a criminal offense, and you'd be attempted and punished as an grownup, no longer a juvenile. working faraway from living house till now you turn 18 is a criminal offense in Texas. in certainty, it is an grownup crime.

If you have written permission from your parents for you to be entrusted to the care of your aunt then I can't see any issue with it.
