How much does the typical marijuana smoker smoke in a week?

Marijuana lasts a long time. You will never find out how much "the average pot-smoker" smokes. I have been smoking marijuana for several years. If I could have my hands on weed all the time I would smoke over 3 times a day with no worries.

There are many factors like a family, jobs and income that will affect how much the "average pot-smoker" smokes.

If you want to make a point about the amount of tar inhaled you shouldn't say "the average pot-smoker" you should say "if you were to smoke marijuana 2 times a week then you would inhale at least..."

You aren't going to get an average...ever. So whoever you are debating against will shoot it down and the validity of your point will be watered down making it worthless.

I am a medical pot user, that lives in WA state and no longer needs a pot card for medical use. I bought an ounce nearly 5 years ago at a great dispensary in Spokane, WA. I have shared it with 3 heavy pot smokers several times. Rarely do I smoke for pleasure, that is more of a social thing. I smoke for pain relief and to help me sleep through the night about once a week or less. I smoke only about 2-3 hits off of one joint to get to sleep and get enough pain relief. I don't like to be intoxicated for fun....I am too old for that silliness. SO after 5 years I still have a 1/4 ounce and although it is dry it still does the trick.

Not all tobacco smokers smoke a pack a day.

Not all weed smokers smoke the same amount in a week.

I have one friend that smokes a half ounce in a week. Another friend smokes a half quarter.

Your way off base with this, theres no magic number

there is no typical amount.

some people may smoke a 1/4 ounce a day or more, while others could make that same amount last a month or longer.

personally, an 1/8th of dank bud will last me a week. that's about 1-2 bowls per day.

this total amount of tar business, I'm assuming is to make a point about lung damage, yes? check out the research coming out that has shown no long term damage or cancer resulting from long term heavy cannabis use, and even more recent discoveries of the cancer fighting ability of cannaboids

If your talking about amount then my friend spends about $40 a week on cigs. i spend about $20-$40 a week on marijuana. If i was in your debate class i would just say that kids only do things that theyre not suppose to do because its cool. u dont see kids smokin cigs or nothin like that because its not illegal (it is but u wont get as much trouble if u get caught with weed or alcohol). if they legalize weed i think it would stop with kids smokin it as much. and for your tobacco question above. . . . i think that tobacco has same or more amount of tar than marijuana

Most of my friends who smoke marijuana smoke it about twice every day. I only smoke it once in a while.
