Do I really need to lose weight?
I weigh 140 lbs. and am 5'10 and I thought I was a normal weight. But my tennis coach has put me on a diet and wants me to lose 10 lbs. Do you think this is reasonable?

I think that you coach needs to take a nutrition class. You are within a healthy weight for your height. There is something called BMI, or body mass index. It is one of several things that measures the fat to height ratio. A certain amount of fat is necessary to maintain a health working body!
You are in the normal weight range. Please go to the web page that I posted below and type in your height and weight. If your teacher wants you to lose 10 pounds you will be within .2% of being underweight. After you type in what you weigh now type in what your teacher wants you to weigh and you will see what I am talking about.
Personally, I don't think that you need to lose any weight because you are nowhere near unhealthy according to the BMI. Good luck with tennis. I am sure you will whats right for you!

I have checked out every diet under the sun but nothing worked as well as acai berry. I know they say that pills don't work, nevertheless they sure worked for me, and they have been featured on CBS News too.
