The faint line thing again... Please help with a different Q?

Okay, SO I took a HPT this morning and I saw an EVER SOOOOO Faint line which I posted a Q about.. anyways, before when I held it to the light or the blinds over the window, i couldn't see the line through it, I had to REALLY look and wonder If I was crazy or not, now there is a visible Very thin line when you hold it to the light. Same line, just thinner and a lil bit darker. Is that normal? For a line to go from being barely there and not really there when held up to light -to- being a very thin line visible when held to light? I know I sound insane and looney. lol Im just freaking out tight now... really freaking out. I wish i could post a picture on here but my darn charger for my camera is broken and my camera is dead... uhh... please help me? Is that normal for that to happen to a + hpt? Also, would a digital test be good idea right now? I can't wait for hubby to get home lol Thank you all SO much for keeping me somewhat sane right now <3

Update:

yeah, it has color.. blue of course... Thanks you guys :-)

Tests with blue dye are notorious for bleeding over. Especially if it is a (+) or (-) test. I had a test acouple of weeks ago that after it sat it looked so postive that I thought this can't be an evap it sooo beleivable. But it was an evaporation line. This tends to happen with the blue dyes.....but i saw your first Q and if that faint line appeared within the correct time frame then yes it is probably a true positive but never look at a test after the recommended time frame has lapsed and yes a digital could be very beneficial right now. I used the clear blue easy digital. It picked it up when I was between 3-4 wks.

IF you have to alter the test or go out of your way to see that line, it doesn't count.

That line you can see if you hold it to the light, is always there, that's how the test works, it just becomes visible/changes colour when in detects hormones.

You are also supposed to disregard anything that happens to the test after 10 minutes.

You're best bet, get another test and test in the morning, and just read it. Don't fight with it. Or, go to a walk in clinic, or your doctor, and have them run the test. It should be inexpensive, if not free.

    Good luck!

An evap line shows up after a million- minutes or so whilst the attempt is considered "undesirable"- like on the field it says do no longer examine effects that manifest after 10 minutes. So Sweety you're pregnant, however if its an extremely faint line it continues to be a confident.

if I were you, I would just buy the digital, I waited a whole week past when my period was suppose to start, wringing my hands stressing, before I bought the darn test, lol. for me I didn't want to be pregnant, which I wasn't it was neg, but my point is, if your killing yourself with stress and anxiety, just pay out the $ and have some peace of mind, and usually any line faint or not is pregnant, im not sure if holding it to light makes a line appear, but very possible, best luck

  • From what I know, a very faint line means your pregnant...there are very few false positives...you might be low on the hormones so thats why it didn't really show...I would take another in a few days to be sure :) good luck!

Does the line have any color to it? I would wait 2 days and test again. Maybe you have low hcg and it should double in 30 hours.
