What are common time-lengths of gun shots?
For instance a .38 special is discharged, I want to know how long in seconds is the sound? I would imagine less than one second? May there is a chart on the internet listing common guns?
I'm analyzing data from a noise dosimeter. I can have it look at this impulse noise event at "fast" 0.125 seconds, or "slow" 1.0 seconds. dBA is higher looking at the "fast column". I need to match the event with the proper time frame.
