What could these symptoms be?
Shortness of Breath
Chest Pain
Pounding Heart
Freaking Out at Normal Events
Inability to Concentrate on a Conversation (sometimes)
None of these occur at the same time. I've been told it might be anxiety but should I be worried that it could be something more serious?

You should tell your parents and visit the doctors. Don't worry about it though it will only make you feel worse!

The first 3 symptoms should be a major red flag to GO SEE A DOCTOR ASAP! Given the last two symptoms, your average family doctor might call it anxiety/panic attacks. If he says that's all it is and doesn't run any tests, go see someone else for a second opinion. However, if you ever have the first 3 symptoms all at once, I would suggest an ER visit.

I've felt the same way, and for me, it was just stress. I had a major swimming competition (Provincials) and my friend just said something right before we went to bed, and I just lost it, and I couldn't stop crying. I had chest pain (I actualy had trouble breatjing) and a pounding heart all day for a couple of days before my 5 day competition, but I eventually relaxed and took it easy.
Think about it: do you have anything going on in your life that could be stressing you out? You failed something, you have a majojr test, your breaking up with your boyfriend, your parents are getting a divorce, your fighting with someone, or you have some sort of event coming up? Or maybe your having problems keeping up with your homework? If you don't have anything like this, you may want to tell your parents and check with a doctor.
Hope you feel better.!!! :)

panic attacks, or anxiety are the most likely
the first 3 symptoms to go with pneumonia, angina, heart attack.
unless the shortness of breath is right after running a few miles, it is worth talking to a doc about. because ASTHMA is a serious possibility.

I honestly don't know, but you should really see a doctor.
