Is it possible for a fish to get drunk?

I am not planning on trying this because it is inhumane, and I am not that type of person. It's just an honest question. I'm wondering because I'm going to a party in a little and I was looking at my fish tank and wondered, "if I were to put vodka in my fishtank, would they get drunk or just die?"

    They would die. Vodka has been used as a means of euthanizing fish.
