how long does a typical refrigerator last?

before it needs to be refill with gas or whatever magic potion that makes things cold.

    Refrigerators will last 20+ years if you take care of them. Really, the sealant around the doors will break down and the shelves will break and it will stop looking stylish long before it actually becomes non-functional.

    ave would be in today's models 5 to 7 years without service. The older ones lasted for years more, all most double.

    They should never need to be recharged. I'm using a 50's era Frigidaire as a beer fridge.

    i whould say up 2 about 628 years depends on the one u buy!!!!!!!
