Your cycle starts with the day you get your flow. So when you get your period that is day 1. Then it continues until the next period so the day before would be your last day and again your period is day one. It doesn't matter really how long they are it matters how far inbetween.

So the first was a 30 day cycle (sep 19-Oct 19th)

the next was again 30 days

then 33 days for Dec (which could mean you ovulated later or you were a bit stressed)

then 35 days in Jan (so they are starting to get a bit longer) since the 26th would be day 1 of your next cycle.

    32 days for feb

    29 days for this cycle.

So you know that you range from about 29 -35 days in your cycle. This being the case you can expect that if you go past the longest (35 days which would be: April 30th) you could test and expect to get accurate results. That's IF you can wait lol.

The best way I found in TTC was to join fertilityfriend.com. They teach you how to track your cycles and what to look for in fertile signs. If you want to do basal body temperatures they show you that as well in a series of free emails. I found them to be very informative. I found that my cycles were longer than I'd thought and I ovulated as (as most women do) at diff times each month!

However, the best way to get pregnant is to make love every other day. The sperm can live up to 4 days in the right conditions waiting for that egg! So you are most fertile even 4 days prior to ovulating. Then of course the days leading up to, the day of and the day after.

It's best to just do the baby dance every day or every other day so you don't miss your window:)

Take care of your body, take your vitamins and make sure your hubby is taking his vitamins as well:)

Best of luck and blessings :)

When I was trying for baby number 2, I tried to work out my cycle and when I would ovulate and everything else but I was totally clueless and confused every month because of the length of my cycles. We tried for 8 months before I fell pregnant. When trying for baby number 3, I tossed my charts and dates out the window and hubby and I had regular sex, every second night if we could. 3 months later, here I am, 6 weeks pregnant with baby number 3. I say try that, it worked for us. If you are trying to work out when you are pregnant, always wait for the longest time you can, pretend that every cycle is 36 days, then you'll know for sure if you have missed your period or not. Best wishes x
