Does anyone remember that Tiger received millions of dollars from American Express before he teed up as a pro?

i have always questioned the u s g a . on his last armature. he had declared turning pro. there were many violations of armature status that are very questionable. he was not allowed contact with regards to turning pro. but was at nike headquarters. just leaves bad taste. great great player. greater humanitarian.

Im not sure what your question is. Im not even sure what your point is. He came in with more raw talent than any other player currently on the tour. He was a cant miss prospect and made money from the years of practice and US Amateur wins before he even made the tour. Then he went on tour with all of those expectations and all he did was exceed the expectations. Talk about pressure. I bet you missed your last putt on 18 with a $2 Nassau on the line. Why would you dislike somebody just because of their good fortune brought about by hard work?

Why should you care? If somebody is dumb enough to offer Tiger Woods millions of dollars he's smart enough to take it. I wish American Express or anybody else would offer me millions of dollars. I'd be all over it in a second and if that meant you were'nt a fan of mine.... oh well, sucks to be you.
