Help with Getting Mew on Pokemon mystery dungeon red rescue team?

In order to get Mew in Poke Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team, here is what I did:

1. When you are starting to try to get Mew, before you even go down Buried Relic, get the Friend Bow.

Here is a mission that makes you go to Tiny Woods 1F to get the Friend Bow as a reward for completing the mission:

2. After you get the Friend Bow, make sure that you have a Pokemon that is at least Level 50-60. If you already have a Pokemon that is Level 50-60, then you can skip this step.

3. Once you already have a Pokemon that is that Level, get the X-Ray Specs and equip them onto him and make sure that you have a bunch of Big or Huge Apples and a bunch of Max Ethers. I would recommend at least 5 of each. Also, make sure you have the Friend Bow in your inventory as well.

4. Once you have those items, enter Buried Relic.

5. When you are going down Buried Relic, make sure that you do NOT drop any of the Rock, Ice, or Steel parts that you get as those are used to make the Music Box.

6. After beating the final boss on Level 35, and getting the Music Box, every floor from floor 36 down to floor 98 has a chance of having Mew in the monsters that are generated right when you enter that floor. Any red dot that appears after you enter the floor has no chance of being Mew.

7. Scour each and every floor until you defeat all of the red dots, and then do one of the two following things:

7a. If you find Mew, immediately equip the Friend Bow onto your leader and make sure that he is the one that kills Mew. If any other Pokemon on your team kills Mew, then you have no chance of recruiting Mew. If you are lucky, after your leader makes Mew faint, he will join your team. If not, move onto the next floor.

7b. If you did not find Mew on the floor that you are on, move directly to the next floor.

8. Keep doing this throughout the rest of the dungeon. The most times I've found Mew in Buried Relic on my way down has been four times.

A few tips:

1. Mew can appear in monster houses.

2. Make sure your leader has Friend Bow equipped before you make Mew faint.

My god, lol. You also have to buy Final Island from Wigglytuff.

I have been trying to get mew. I don't have the fried bow and I don't have a pokemon that knows fly to get the friend bow from mt. pillar, i think or mt. faraway.

yes you get the FRIEND BOW from MT FARAWAY...also did you buy mew's friend area FINAL ISLAND??..i didn't use the FRIEND BOW when i got MANDY (mew) she was in a MONSTER HOUSE transformed into a sandshrew so i hit her and she asked to join and i said YES
