Contacts with nystagmus?

Can I get contacts if I have nystagmus and have a filtering bleb? Thanks!

Contacts are great for nystagmus because they move with the eye and give better vision than glasses for many.

The problem is the filtering bleb. These make the eye prone to severe internal eye infections, called endophthalmitis.

Contacts make people more prone to conjunctivitis which can lead to this disaster. Also, it is not easy to fit a contact lens on an eye with a bleb.

    Stick with glasses.
