The Magic Jack Plus has an ethernet wire to connect to a router. However, I am going to a building which has WiFi but not cable. So a wifi enabled pc or laptop can access the Internet. I want to know what device I would need to receive the WiFi signal and output ethernet data, so that the Magic Jack Plus would function. Also, if you have a specific brand of this device to recommend, it would be appreciated.

I have the following in my php code, but I would like to reduce the size of the image slightly without uploading a new properly sized image. Please let me know how to do this if possible.

I have rear speaker outlets in the rear of my living room. They were put there by using a product called flatwire to run under the floor boards. I do not know if the flatwire was installed properly so I want to be able to test whether or not the speaker wires are labeled properly as left and right and also whether they might be crossed (shorted). I'd like to do this without running them to the receiver first, since the instructions for that warn that this could cause harm to the receiver.

Any good ideas on testing this?

I want to take a large screen lcd tv and make it nearly flush with the wall instead of just attached to it and sticking out by several inches.

Just to get it out of the way, I know all ready. I was stupid. Now I would like to know where to go from here. Problem:

I purchased a Louis Vuitton pet carrier from a person on craigslist. They seemed as honest as you can seem for a stranger. I sent a money order to New Jersey for almost $500. The person said they would send it by Priority Mail /signature receipt and would call me with the tracking number. There was no call. After 2 weeks, I started to worry and asked for a copy of the tracking receipt. She said it got lost. I asked for a copy of the original receipt and "it was in the package". I asked for a copy of the report to the post office that the package was lost and communication (by email) stopped.

I called the Union City police and they said it is not for them to deal with.

If you want to criticize, go ahead, but what I really want are some ideas of next steps.

Are they the same ?

Two out of 3 of my external FireWire Hard Drives do not work when plugging them into a different PC. Original PC is a HP d530 and all three drives work. Other (newer) PC is a HP Pavilion m7680n (Media Center). Two of the 3 drives do not work in it. Both PC's have XP SP2. Neither Drive has drivers to install, they are plug n play in XP. One of the 2 "bad" drives is seen by the PC in explorer but says it's got an i/o error. The 3rd drive is not seen at all. But when you put the drives back on the original PC they are both fine. Have been working on this for 3 hours. Help ?
