Musicals based on true stories?
Ok, so I have to do a presentation in Welsh as part of a GCSE, and was wanting to it on a musical which is about a true story.
One of my friends is doing Sweeney Todd, so something like that would be a good idea, but I can't think of any.
It doesn't have to be completely true, there doesn't have to be evidence that it's true or anything, just that it is most probably true.

Ooh, Assassins by Sondheim. A musical about all the people who have attempted, or succeeded in assassinating a President of the USA. Hilarious, brilliant Sondheim at his best, and based on historical facts.
