Please answer I'm really worried!?
I'm not sexually active. I am a virgin. I my period is 15 days late. My period is usually off by a day or 2 but it has never been later than a week. I'm getting scared because yesterday I started sweating when it wasn't hot. I got dizzy, and I have been really nauseous but I have never thrown up. I am 16, so it can't be menopause. I'm afraid to tell my mom because she will think im pregnant. I have been getting my spine readjusted could that have something to do with it in any way? It's not like it's one of my first periods either, because my first 3 or 4 periods were about a couple of months apart. I got my first period a month after I turned 13. Please answer I'm worried.
I became a vegetarian late December... I have been taking vitamins for protein, and my period has been like it usually has the months in between.

I really wouldnt worry about it... there are a ton of things that can affect your period. I mean I used to completely skip mine for 2 months at a time and I wasn't having sex. Then randomly, I would get my period for 2 weeks straight! It was hell, so I went to the doctor and apparently there really is a ton of stuff that can affect it. Stress, medications, diet, exercise, and a lot more. I finally got put on birth control because mine was so abnormal, and now it is fine.
If you really aren't having sex and there is no way you could be pregnant, then I wouldn't worry about telling your mom. Your her daughter, she will trust you. She has probably been there herself and will just laugh and be like "oh that happened to me once!" haha but if you really dont want to tell her, I would schedule an appointment with your doctor. If you have your license, then perfect. If not, get a friend who is 18 to drive you. (she can be your guardian)
everything will be fine... no worries!

It's probably a different hormone swing from your usual one. I had the same experience as you - dizzy, sweating, nausea - but I wasn't pregnant either. And I've not had the symptoms since. My period was late that time, too, but it did finally come around. Sometimes our bodies to strange things. It's good that you are keeping track of your cycle, it can help your doctor diagnose things if something is wrong. Most likely, though, it's just your body being different from normal. Stress, illness and things like that can throw your cycle for a loop.
If it happens again, or your period becomes erratic, it's time to see a doctor about it.

It's not unusual for some people to have irregular periods from time to time. I had a couple of instances like the one you're describing when I was about the same age. Also, I had the same problem after my children were born. I ended up going into my GYN, having a pregnancy test and getting a hormone shot to start my period again. Wait a while longer, and if it doesn't come, go in and get checked by your doctor.

Your period is not the problem,,your relationship with your mother is. Why would she think you were pregnant?...
Stress could make you late..and you obviously are stressed. I used to be 3 weeks late sometimes and i had been getting mine for years also when this happened. If you know you are not pregnant then relax and don't worry. It will come and next time you go to the dr you should discuss this with them. I'm sure they will make you feel better!

1 You need to CALM DOWN. Seriously.
#2 You are not pregers and DUH you are not going though metapause.
OK look.
Causes of a late period: Stress, changing in weight (gain/loss), change in eating habits, drinking or drugs, mediciations, doing more activity than normal, AND there are so many other things.
You are fine. I would give it another month.
If it does not come by then- call a GYNO and see if your hormones are doing alright.
You are fine. Just be patient.
When I was your age my period fluctuated from getting it every 2 weeks to getting it every 2 months.
