Who made F*** a swear word...?

I want to know who exactly made f**k a swear word.

Why is it considered swearing - and who made the list of 'unacceptable" words...

Update:

Ok, so if it is not considered swearing, and they are normal words...Why are these words still censored on websites and are not used in newspapers etc.

Update 2:

If its a simple case of "how" you use the word in context - couldn't by that definition ANY word be a swear word...

And if you do use **** in the right connotations - it is still considered a swear word?

Nobody "made" it a swearword; it is a word which society in general found offensive - although it was probably originally a perfectly normal word - because of what it meant; that is the case with all swearwords.

Yahoo, however, has altered the course of history by deciding that perfectly normal words such as the Biblical word for a donkey and the vetinary word for a female dog are swearwords. This is not because they actually are swearwords, but simply because the nice people at Yahoo are either dirty-minded or uneducated.

The f word is a form of vulgar language. That means it is a crude and rude way of speaking. What makes it a swear word is the way it is used. Like - that f... ing idiot. This is using a crude piece of language

in a way that really goes beyond the actual definition of the action it crudely describes. It is a way of saying nasty and inappropriate stuff about something, also know as cursing. Cursing is speaking evil about something, which is the opposite of blessing, saying good, encouraging, and kind words. A blessing wishes you well. A curse denounces and condemns. So, using condemning inappropriate language is a way of cursing not blessing.

You see it's not the words but how they are used.

Take the s word for example. A farmer might say I am going to clean the s.. out of the barn. It's crude but accurate. He can say that in a way that is not swearing. Let's say you look in your rearview mirror and see red and blue lights on your tail. You may utter the same word but in this context you are using a crude reference to a nasty substance in an tone that is meant to curse, not bless. This would be swearing.

So the deal is really about attitude and speaking words that convey respect and kindness, not vulgarity.

society. alot of the words that we use to day have completely changed in meaning when they were first deemed swear words. personally swear words do not exist. its all about context. there is a huge difference between a girl saying f--- you and a girl saying i want to f--- you. one could be really pleasant and the other not so pleasant.
