How to mount an ISO file to your hard drive?

I basically know that an ISO file is an image of a CD/DVD and that it can be mounted directly to your hard drive. Problem is I don't know how to do that. I have a file with an .iso extension, and my friend suggested Alcohol or Daemon tools to mount the image.

But for some reason I can't seem to download the right program or get it to work, I'm not sure why.

Can anyone put up a link for a place to download a simple program that will allow me to finally use my .iso file?

Virtual CloneDrive is probably as simple as it gets.

All you need to do after the install is double click on the image-file and it should automatically mount.

You will then find the mounted image from "My computer" as a additional DVD-drive and the image that you mounted as the disc inserted into the drive.

(It may require a reboot after the install)

    Good luck!

Here's the link. download the file and install. after a while its gonna ask you to restart the pc. Restart and the installation will pop up again. When it completes, look in your notification areas, there will be a red lighting sign.click>Device: 0 Empty. It'll pop up an "open" window. Find the iso file and mount. Enjoy. If still in doubt or you are encountering problems mail me.

Yea, I had the same issue. Here is a link to DAEMON, download the tools app and toolbar.

Once completed, just right click on the toolbar (it should read: Device [F])

Then click mount image and select file.

that isn't artwork simply by fact the iso is masking the records that are needed besides the living house windows i don't understand if following is going to artwork yet attempt this -Extract the iso records into the muse of the problematicalchronic with not something at thechronic Or this technique will definently artwork one hundred% -purchase some sparkling DVD 4.7GB discs and you decide on purely one disc, insert the disc and burn the iso at lowest speed utilising the living house windows img burn or utilising a utility including ultraiso, magiciso (counseled to apply utility) desire this permits

If you are looking for a free download of Winrar you can check here http://bit.ly/1p3P1iw

WinRar is the software you need to decompress all kind of compressed files, documents or folders.

Copy it first. Then if you screw it up, you still have your original file. Then rename the copy to a format you can run. Is it a still or video? Try ".avi".

Or extract it. Right click and use your computer's extraction software, probably Winrar, to extract, then copy each of the extracted parts and rename them ".mpg". Or they may be "GOM" files which you can open directly with GOM Player.
