You can buy nicotine patches anywhere without a script. I bought mine at Walmart generic runs about twenty to twenty two dollars. And the brand name is around forty. The generic works just as good. The thing that really irritated me though was they use to keep the patches in the pharmacy area and now they are in the checkout lane where you buy cigarettes. How messed up is that. Come on! Were trying to quit here! Jerks. LOL Good Luck with quitting it has been a nightmare for me. But they are getting to expensive and it's horrible for ya anyway.

Yes, you can. I think they run about 25-30 dollars for the cheap ones. Don't sleep with them on, because it will give you very vivid, odd, nightmarish dreams. Very strange.

I recommend the gum, especially Nicoderm fruit flavors. It keeps your mouth busy. I used patches later after the oral fixation thing passed a bit.
