also, in general, is the length of post graduate courses longer than undergraduate courses? (that is longer holiday or shorter holiday for graduate/undergradate)

No, they don't share the same holiday time because the courses are often different in length, but may be similar.
E.g. a postgraduate course in law usually starts earlier than an undergraduate course in law, but may still have Xmas hols etc the same.
