Is there any way for me to completely restart my whole computer?
I have a Windows XP Home Edition. It has been running extremely slow as of late, and I wanted to erase everything and start the whole computer. I already have everything I need backed up on a portable hard drive. What steps do I have to take in order to delete everything including viruses that may be running?

You would need to format your hard drive and install windows on it.
It is pretty simple just insert the windows CD set the BIOS settings to boot from CD and just follow instruction from then you should be OK at that point. When you are finished installing windows you would have to install your board drivers first doing the chipset drivers first then you may install other programs. Any problems you can always check out your nearest computer technician. Good luck

Reboot your computer using your XP Home CD. There are instructions as to what to do next. You will have to delete the old Partition and create a new Partition to re-install XP.
