Do you think parents should give children the silent treatment as punishment?

    No, because it really hurts the child, at first, and then after a while, the child just gets used to it, and it doesn't solve anything.

    If your kid did something wrong, would it not be better to talk about it, than to ignore them?

    Yes xD. It works really it does. Whenever I did something wrong and I talked to my mom and she never replied. It made me really sad and I tried desperately however I could to make her talk to me. It really made me reflect on what I really did.

    No, it's really childish and just can never be good for the relationship overall.

    No. My 16 year old little sister does that to me and it drives me mad. To be honest, I think it is rather immature.
