What's your opinion on Sony Cyber-shot cameras? Or similar EZ to use cameras?
I'm looking for low-priced (under $150) point-n-shoot and would prefer another cybershot to replace mine. I welcome alternate choices... have found Nikon Coolpix that looks ok???
ALL OPINIONS WELCOME! Need to purchase in next week and my mind is spinning from all the research.
Thank you!

I loved my old Sony DSC-30. It only had 1.4 Mega pixels but it took great snaps. You might want to stretch your budget by looking at the DSC-W230 or stay in budget with a Canon PowerShot A590 IS.

Cybershot would not recommend something, that's in trouble-free terms a recognition for his or her sequence of cameras, merely like Coolpix is to Nikon. Sony does have type-maximum advantageous ultracompact cameras. i would not say so for something of their line. Their sensors are medium solid, no longer the appropriate. you would be conscious their lenses are made via Carl Zeiss. i've got no longer observed any ingredient benefit over different lenses via different manufacturers. Sony's compact cameras do no longer learn too nicely with different cameras. in trouble-free terms their ultracompacts are solid for his or her type.

Don't cheap it out. Buy something that you'll want a year from now and that will last longer than it's warranty.
