Question about Tallinn?

The water in Tallinn is perfectly safe for all uses.

Tallinn is lovely. It's small, but there is loads to see, especially in the old town - loads of museums, galleries, great restaurants and churches, the Russian Orthodox cathedral is quite gorgeous. There is also a synagogue in Tallinn.

Most Estonians don't speak English - you should be ok in Tallinn, but off the beaten track you'll have to rely on guesswork.

If you get the chance Tartu is worth a visit, it's a very pretty university city. Narva on the Russian border is also good - it's predominantly Russian, so it feels very different to the rest of Estonia.

I drank the tap water in Tallinn without problems. The taste varies around the city, but at a major chain hotel it should be fine. The drinking water is really only a concern in rural areas without proper filtration systems, since there are lots of small water supplies rather than a few big ones.

Tallinn is pretty safe, advanced and a beautiful city too...I don't think you'll have problems with the water, you should not worry, personally I kept bottled water, and I do this everywhere I go, not just in Tallinn...
